About Us
Claw-some Animal Rescue is a small group of volunteers living in Sydney Australia who rely solely on donations and are dedicated to making a difference in the local colony cat community by TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) as well as socialising and re-homing adoptable friendly kittens from the local colonies, pounds and shelters.
We began working with rescue cats and kittens over seven years ago and developed a passion for working in particular with colony cats when we moved into an area two years ago that had a large colony cat community living in the local park.
We are passionate about animal welfare and the friendly co-existence between humans and non-humans. Our aim is to educate the local community about colony cats and the benefits of TNR and saving a life off the streets by adopting a rescue kitten.
We also offer mentoring and support to those helping their own colony cat community by providing guidance about how to begin with TNR as well as information about how to socialise, feed and care for colony kittens so that they can be re-homed.
Please contact us if you need guidance or support.
