Raw Food Diet
Carnivorous animals such as cats and dogs have evolved eating a prey based diet of raw food. Cooking can degrade nutrients in meat and meat used in highly processed pet food is cooked at high temperatures and contains a lot of additives.
We recommend feeding your cats and kittens (8 weeks plus) a natural, raw meat based diet. This can include raw chicken, raw beef as well as livers, hearts and other organs.
A raw food based diet has many benefits for your animal including:
· Improved dental health
· Improved urinary health
· Better digestion
· Reduced stool odour
· Minimisation of stool volume
· Healthier coat with less shedding and hairballs
· More energy
· Maintenance of a healthy weight or weight loss, if overweight
